And what a day it was for St. Joseph Cross Country

When the training is all done and you place your toe on the line for your last race of the season, all you can ask is that you have the opportunity to give it your all.  It was a beautiful day at Overbook Sunday and no question, the kids gave it all!  We had 57 young runners line up Sunday for our Championship meet and of those 57 running we had 40 come home with personal best times.  This is truly an amazing accomplishment and you should all be very proud.  Of these great finishes, there were 18 finishers in the top 25th of their races.

Kindergarten Girls - Lucia 7th , Abigail 10th, Abby B 20th, Mallory 23rd
Kindergarten Boys - Braden 17th
1st & 2nd Grade Girls - Alaina Claire 19th
1st & 2nd Grade Boys - John Michael 19th
3rd & 4th Grade Girls - Remmington 4th,  Jacie 22nd
3rd & 4th Grade Boys -  Finnigan 17th, Will 24th
5th & 6th Grade Girls - Kinslei 16th,  Abby 17th
5th & 6th Grade Boys - Mathew 8th, Jack 13th
7th & 8th Grade Girls - Annabelle 19th
7th & 8th Grade Boys - Ethan 12th, Luke 14th

                   The girls varsity team was 3rd place overall and the boys captured 4th as a team!

All 6 Varsity Runners had season best performances!! (2 not pictured)

            

We had a blast this season and thank you to all the parents who helped to make this all possible.

**** TEAM PICTURES THURSDAY 10/2 AFTER SCHOOL****

Please send your runner or runners to school with their uniforms Thursday and shoes.  We will have the team pictures following school and then a brief season review and ICE CREAM PARTY!!  The pictures will be outside and then we will return to the gym for our party.
